About the “Global Niche Top 100 Companies”

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) selects Japanese companies as “Global Niche Top 100 Companies”, which, even in the current challenging economic environment, develop highly unique products and services in niche areas.  These companies are differentiated in terms of quality management and have built a leading position in their global market niches.  In addition, they are leaders in profitability, strategy, competitive advantage and internationalism.
