Report of COVID-19 at Our Company

On January 3, 2021, an employee working at NAMICS CORPORATION (Kita-ku, Niigata City) tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee had a fever of 38 degrees Celsius on the night of January 1, 2021 and was tested on January 2. The result of the test confirmed the infection on January 3.

Our company was closed for the New Year Holidays from December 26, 2020 to January 4, 2021, and since the onset of the COVID-19 occurred during the holidays, there were no close contacts within our company. Therefore, there will be no impact on operations or shipments due to this situation.

As measures against COVID-19 at our company, we have carried out regular disinfection, mouth rinsing, hand washing, wearing masks, temperature measurement before going to work, prohibition of meetings with a large number of people and business trips outside the Niigata prefecture. In addition, we have implemented online meetings and working from home whenever possible.

We will continue to take strict measures to prevent COVID-19 infections.
