Report of COVID-19 at Our Company

NAMICS CORPORATION

 

On August 2, 2021, an employee working at the laboratory of NAMICS CORPORATION (NAMICS Techno Core: Shimami, Kita-ku, Niigata-City) tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee had a high fever on July 31, 2021 and was tested on August 2.
The result of the test confirmed the infection on August 2.

It is confirmed by local government that there were no close contact to our other operational related employees at our company.

Based on the local government instruction, we will conduct PCR test to some employees who are belong to same division with the employee.
Also, we will suspend work for a certain period of time to those employees who take PCR test.

The route of infection is completely different from the employee who was infected on July 30, 2021.
Therefore, it is not the company clusters inside NAMICS CORPORATION.

Our factory is in normal operation same as usual and no impact due to this.

We will continue to take strict measures to prevent COVID-19 infections.
